From Charles Waldron on 2nd October 2020:

Subject: New shop opening times

Landkey residents might like to know that the opening times for our village shop and Post Office, Lyncroft Stores, have been extended, as from 5th October 2020. The new times are published on this website under "In Brief".

John and Janette Stitt have done a great job with providing essential supplies since Lockdown was imposed in March 2020 (remember the long, socially-distanced queues outside the shop in the spring and summer?) and continue offer a wide range of grocery and household items at competitive prices. Please support them, if you can!

From Charles Waldron on 23rd August 2020:

Subject: Church services continue

Landkey residents might like to know that church services at St Paul's Church continue after resuming on 2nd August 2020.

They take place in Covid-safe conditions, which includes the wearing of face coverings. Congregation members are becoming used to the new routine, though, and we welcome all who would like to join us for Anglican Christian worship in our parish church.

Fuller details are available on: http://www.landkeyparishchuch.org

From Charles Waldron on 27th July 2020:

Subject: Church services resume

Landkey residents may be pleased to learn that services at St Paul's Church will restart on 2nd August. This will be the first service held in the church since Lockdown was imposed in March.

All are welcome to attend but social distancing and hygiene rules will apply. Worshippers are strongly encouraged to wear a face covering.

Fuller details are available on the church website at: http://www.landkeyparishchurch.org.

From Charles Waldron on 15th July 2020:

Subject: Events begin!

It may be a small start, but the holding of events in Landkey has begun.

In a sign that some normality is returning to our village since the Coronavirus lockdown in March caused events to cease, the Millennium Green Trust will be holding its Annual Meeting on Monday 20th July at 7:30pm.

It will be held on the Green to avoid social distancing issues. All are invited and are encouraged to bring their own seat.

Full details are available on the Events Calendar.

From Charles Waldron on 3rd May 2020:

Subject: Church online services

During this period of lockdown while the church is unable to open its doors, Landkey parish residents might like to know that services may be watched daily at 10am  (the recorded versions may be viewed at anytime thereafter) on Facebook by searching for Mission Prayer Programme.

Further information is available on the St Paul's website on: http://www.landkeyparishchurch.org.
